Dublin’s 3FE Announces Póca, A Reusable Coffee Bag

Currently, the tendency of using eco-friendly and reusable bags is no longer strange to consumers around the globe. This kind of bag is widely used in supermarkets, convenience stores, commercial centers,... And recently, 3FE, a famous coffee shop from Dublin, Ireland's 3FE, also launched Póca - a brand-new reusable coffee bag to catch up with this trend.

It is very likely that the coffee bag is the second most essential item in relation to coffee-related business supplies, behind the coffee cup itself. The coffee bag serves as a marketing tool for whole bean sales as well as a customer's first exposure to a roasting company's brand concept and identity. The coffee bag is a necessary but occasionally wasteful component of the coffee industry. Even if many bags in recent years have been manufactured of recyclable or even compostable materials, they still depend on the customers to dispose of them appropriately (and municipalities having appropriate waste management resources to handle them). The concept for Póca bags, which was introduced last month on 3FE founder Colin Harmon’s Instagram, was inspired by the widespread use and acceptance of reusable coffee cups, particularly KeepCup. Harmon claims that it is a continuation of many of the environmental initiatives at the Dublin cafe, such as a promotion where clients get 10% off the price of roasted coffee purchases when they bring their own container. Póca is a new object with a specific purpose.

Póca is a portable, washable coffee cup that is 100% food-safe silicone and aluminum. It may be used whenever you need to restock on coffee. Harmon points out that buyers can still engage in the time-honored whole bean coffee buying ritual of giving the bag a little push to catch a whiff of the coffee within. The aluminum clip glides onto the bag, keeping it air-tight and serving as a type of one-way valve.

Póca bags are available in three color options which include blue, white and orange that can be combined with three different aluminum seal options - silver, blue and orange - and are now retailing on 3FE’s website for €20 ($21 USD). Additionally, 3FE will keep giving Póca users a 10% discount on coffee bean purchases.
