In Saskatchewan, Loblaws will stop selling single-use plastic shopping bags 

No Frills, Real Canadian Superstore, Extra Foods, Your Independent Grocer, and Wholesale Club will no longer sell single-use plastic bags. 

The primary reasons for this decision would be that single-use plastic bags can bring about a number of harmful impacts for our environment and health condition.

According to the business, this is the next stage in attempts to lessen the usage of single-use plastic and its negative impacts.  Instead, businesses are gradually turning to using reusable shopping bags. This is an eco-friendly and safe bag for users. So:

Why should businesses use reusable bags?

1. Reusable bags are biodegradable with the environment:

Using reusable bags is considered the best environmental protection method. Because these reusable bags are biodegradable with the environment and have a short life cycle (disposal time is 2-3 years).
