Monoprix Qatar started the year off right by launching the ongoing campaign, "Let's be the change - reduce, reuse, recycle," on January 1st, 2023. Monoprix Qatar is leading the charge in eliminating the single-use of shopping bags and is excited to save trees and improve the environment.

Consumers can now purchase one reusable bag for QR 1 at any Monoprix location in Qatar and receive a voucher for QR 1 in return, thus receiving the bag for free. This QR 1 certificate is redeemable on the following visit, beginning the following day, at any Monoprix location. The coupon is good for one month.

As a company, Monoprix has always vowed to pursue sustainable development through the use of environmentally friendly packaging, local and organic foods, and recycling of garbage. Monoprix adopts innovative measures to protect nature for a more sustainable future with a proactive aim to protect the environment and increase awareness about it.

The Regional General Manager of Monoprix, Mr. Sébastien Farhat, commented on this admirable initiative by saying: "Monoprix stores use a lot of bags each year, which is not good for the environment. Reusable shopping bags appeared to be the ideal solution because we are constantly seeking for more environmentally friendly, sustainable solutions.
